I really appreciate everything that can make my job in this busy children’s health clinic easier. This is a very stressful job because of the worried parents and the sick children and the over-worked doctor. I’m not complaining about my job, mind you, but it can be taxing. Our new Pediatric EMR software may relieve some of the stress when it comes to recording and retrieving information on our little patients. Sometimes a parent just needs her child’s immunization records for school or a special activity such as summer camp. I can pull that information out on the spot and see that everything is up to date. This saves a lot of time and gives me a little more control over this busy environment.
