In order to solve the services.exe – Application error, just do the following steps: go to Start>Run. Then type in sysdm.cpl and go to Advanced > Performance > Settings. Thereafter, click the Data Execution Prevention tab in Performance Options. Remove the services.exe from the list, and click on apply and OK. When prompted, restart your computer and everything should be fine after booting.
