I really need to fence my backyard to keep my small children home and safe. My husband is concerned with the cost and our small budget. Is there a good kind of fence that is also reasonable and not too ugly? A cheap fence that rots out in a few years won’t be good for us, either. Our neighbors have made it clear that they don’t want an ugly fence to look at. They are not willing to help us pay for a fence, however. My husband says a metal chain link fence is the most reasonable one that will last a long time. Maybe if I plant a lot of flowers and shrubs along it, the neighbors won’t be too unhappy with the fence design.
