Progress in land development is great for us, but it is chasing bluebirds, as well as other animals, out of their natural habitats. The good thing about bluebirds is that they are adaptable and will use bluebird houses as their new habitat as well as their feeding area. When you build your birdhouse for bluebirds, make sure to avoid using wood that is chemically treated and try using redwood or cedar for the birdhouse. They are very easy to construct and you can even make it a parent and child project for bonding and for teaching them about bluebirds and other wildlife.
