Headaches are a very common complaint among children and rarely indicate a serious medical condition, however if these headaches are accompanied by great difficulty in maintaining proper balance, extremely floppy or excessively stiff muscles you may want to contact your doctor.  All of these symptoms can be an indication of cerebral palsy.  No one knows for sure the exact causes of cerebral palsy however we do know that there is extreme damage to the parts of the brain the control motor skills and involuntary muscle movements.  Damage can occur at anytime during pregnancy and in the months shortly following birth so be watchful for any extreme symptoms.
