A couple of years ago a group of six of us decided to spend a month travelling around Europe as a summer vacation. We were all on a pretty tight budget but wanted to see as many countries and sights as possible within that month. After researching all the different transportation options including trains and buses we decided that cheap europe car rental was the way to go. We rented two small cars for much less than a train ticket would have cost, picked them up in Rome and drove from there through five different countries before dropping them back off. We had the vacation of a lifetime!
